The ensemble is made up of members of outstanding orchestras of the Hungarian folk and world music scene. In addition to the long-standing friendship between the members, the main reason for the formation of the orchestra was their passion for Hungarian and modern Balkan music.
The first album was released by Fonó Budai Zeneház in September 2015. Almost immediately after its release, it was among the best albums in the most prestigious world music charts in the world, the World Music Charts Europe, with a very strong international field.
In their music, folk music themes and songs (Hungarian, Serbian, Macedonian, Bulgarian, Romanian) are played in a faithful style, while the rhythm section supports the beautiful melodies with a more modern sound.

Their second album 2021 features original compositions, not just folk song arrangements. The Hungarian lyrics are in the majority on this album, but the Balkan line in the music is of course still there. This album also became a WMCE top-list album, and in September 2021 it was voted the 10th best world music album in the world in Berlin.
