Branka Básits

Lead vocal

The Junior Prima Prize-winning singer graduated from the Liszt Academy as a folk singer, but her musicality is not only defined by authentic folk music, as she loves to cross genre boundaries, and her musical freedom and boundlessness can best unfold in world music.
Branka is a Hungarian-Serbian musician, a vibrant, colourful personality and singer. On stage, she sings with great passion and power, but she is also capable of soft and delicate tones that reach the hardest of hearts. The singer's father is Serbian and her mother Hungarian, so she grew up embracing these two traditions, a duality that permeates not only her everyday life and life, but also her entire musical world and art.

Péter Bede

saxophone, tárogató

He started playing the saxophone at the age of 17, after 8 years of classical clarinet studies under the influence of Mihály Dresch. He studied folk music and jazz in parallel: flute at the Óbuda Folk Music School and saxophone at the Postás Music School. It was at this time that he realised that the saxophone playing on the Fanfara Ciocîrlia records he had received from his uncle and the dance music of the Moldavian Csángó region were essentially the same. This experience was only reinforced during the summer folk music camps in Somoska, Moldova, where he was able to experience this culture live. Peter later graduated from the Jazz College and obtained a Master's degree in Folk Music at the Academy of Music, but his interest has remained focused on his adolescent roots, playing the Romanian, Gypsy and Balkan saxophones.

Bence Babcsán

He has loved Balkan folk music since childhood and later honed his skills at the Academy of Music. He is an active member of several world music and folk music formations and has his own orchestra, the Babcsán project. In addition to wind instruments, he also plays the tambourine.
